Al-Karkh University of Science held the second session of the first international conference of Al-Karkh University of Science on the recent contributions of geophysics and remote sensing techniques in oil exploration.
Major General Dr. Saad Maan, Director of Information and Relations of the Ministry of Interior, said that the ministry, in all its formations and institutions, is ready to cooperate with Al-Karkh University of Science, and to ensure positive steps towards the future.
He added that the ministry is witnessing a new age, an era of technology and development, in cooperation with universities of a modern nature in their studies and specialties.
In a special meeting with the Media and Public Relations Department at the university, the General Major stressed that the coming period will witness positive and constructive steps in which there is good for the public interest, and there will be hosting of the Colleges of Al-Karkh University of Science and inventors.
For his part, Dr. Thamir Abdul-Amir praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in establishing security and safety and the efforts of its staff to support the University's conference through the rapid procedures by providing visas to the international researchers and participants in the conference.
